Why portrait photography?
People. It's the people in front of the camera that make portrait photography so special to me. It's the moments when they think no one's watching that make the best photo. I think many of us have gotten too used to posed photos where couples stand side by side, look at the camera and smile, but there's so much more to people than a smile. There's so much character and personality within each person waiting to be captured and it's my responsibility to bring that out whether it's for family photos, graduation photography or wedding photography.
